of experience from designing and wiring commercial recording studios to the
residential environment. Our staff is accustomed to working with hundreds or
thousands of individual cables, so working with the smaller systems in a new home is
no problem.
Structured wiring is one of the hottest technologies in home building today. When we
install a structured wiring system, we make sure that our customers’ house is wired
not only for today’s networking requirements, but also for tomorrow's. We do this by
using high quality cable -- often using cable that is generations beyond the current
industry standards. In addition to this, we can take steps to make it easier for our
customers to add additional services in the future by placing conduit tubing that
opens up to strategic locations in their houses.
Certified Installation You Can Rely On
CEDIA (the Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association) is an
international trade association that specializes in designing and installing electronic
systems for the home. The association has more than 3,000 member companies
worldwide. CEDIA members include Residential Electronics Systems Professionals
who have emerged as the “fourth contractor” in the building and remodeling
industries alongside electrical, plumbing and HVAC professionals. CEDIA’s intent
with its certification program is to advance the custom electronics industry through
the development and maintenance of a valid, credible and reliable certification
system based upon a sound structure and quality standards. Colorado Media
Systems employs CEDIA-Certified installers on all of our installation projects.
Educating Your Clients
We know that our job does not stop when you hand over the keys to your clients.
The systems that we install, while as easy to use as possible, need to have some
instruction that goes along with them. We go the extra mile by taking all of the user
manuals and placing them all in a binder that you can give to your clients at closing.
This binder also has a “cheat sheet” to refer to for the most common commands. We
also make an appointment with the homeowner to walk them through the operation
of all of their systems and allow them to ask any questions they have. In addition, we
add a one-year warranty on all of our cabling. Your clients’ structured wiring and
entertainment system needs are covered on all fronts.
